Usually I try to put together a mix of interesting topics, but AI has blown me away so many times it's completely taken over this weeks newsletter.

This is clearly still very early stages with very primitive controls and low resolution, but hey, we're witnessing the birth of AI game design! I can easily imagine a future where the basics of most games are created with AI and then enhanced by humans.

EMO - AI Lip Sync that Speaks Volumes!👄

This is genuinely one of those "omg, everything has changed" moments. While it's not flawless, 90% of it is downright amazing, surpassing my own animation skills. Now if someone can find a way to combine this technique with facial motion capture, I'll be set!

🤖 Terminator 2 - Remade with AI 🦾

Okay, my mind has been blown enough today. Let's look at something a little silly.

These guys are claiming they're remaking T2 with AI tools. The trailer looks a bit...well, let's just say it's more "laugh out loud" than "run for your life" scary. But, being able to create a feature length movie with AI would be impressive nonetheless. And it might even be a world first.

The movie is set to premiere tomorrow (March 9th) so...enjoy that 😅
